FAQ
Why are my DTF edges lifting?
This is usually caused by pressure being too light, the garment not being pre-pressed, or the press running cooler than expected. Lay the film back down, repress for 3–5 seconds with firm pressure, then hot peel again.
Can I use an iron instead of a heat press?
We strongly recommend a heat press for even pressure and consistent durability. Irons typically don’t apply uniform pressure, which can cause lifting and poor wash durability.
Should I do a second press?
It’s optional, but recommended if you want extra durability and a matte finish. Cover with parchment or a Teflon sheet and press again for 5 seconds.
My print looks dull or not fully bonded — what should I do?
Your press may be running cooler than the display shows or pressure may be too light. Try pressing closer to 320°F (within the range), confirm firm pressure, and make sure you hot peel immediately.
